Prior to joining Kesarev in 2018, Ivan did internships at a Moscow-based political consultancy and the Russian International Affairs Council – the leading Russian think tank in international and regional affairs.
Responsibilities in Kesarev
In Kesarev, Ivan has been advising clients in the FMCG, consumer health, and industrial sectors in Russia and the Eurasian Economic Union, helping market leaders develop effective and safe approaches to both long-term work and ad hoc tasks that require applied policy and political expertise.
Ivan's current core focus areas are guiding complex systemic support, crisis protection and special purpose FMCG and cross-practice projects, as well as continually fostering the collaborative talent growth environment in the firm.
Background
Ivan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with Distinction from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO). He also studied international relations at the Free University of Berlin, the Humboldt-University of Berlin and the University of Potsdam.

Along with his native Russian and Bulgarian, Ivan is also fluent in English and German.
