Work experience
Before joining Kesarev in 2025, Oleg worked in the HSE International Partnership Office, where he was responsible for building relationships with the university’s international partners and promotion in foreign markets. Oleg also has extensive experience in preparing expert and analytical materials on Middle Eastern issues for the Russian International Affairs Council, the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and the Primakov Center for Foreign Policy Cooperation.
Responsibilities in Kesarev
In Kesarev, Oleg focuses on analytical support of clients on regulatory and political risks in the FMCG, food and health products sectors.
Background
Oleg holds a Master’s degree in Middle East Politics with distinction from the joint program of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the State Academic University for the Humanities. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the National Research University Higher School of Economics.
Languages
Along with his native Russian, Oleg is fluent in English and has intermediate proficiency in Arabic.
