Kesarev, the leading public affairs consultancy across Russia, Ukraine, post-soviet region and Eurasia, has appointed regional and industry veteran Chris Dobson
as Executive Partner, to drive its ambitious international expansion strategy.
Chris will add depth to the firm's consultancy offering across its current operations while also focusing on client-led growth into new emerging markets.
Chris previously played a key role in developing Mm
d (now Grayling) across 18 European markets plus Russia and Turkey, before stints with Edelman EMEA and more latterly Speyside, the Latin America focused consultancy which he led for almost four years. Evgeny Roshkov
, Kesarev's Founding Partner, said: "We are delighted Chris has joined us - he brings a wealth of market entry, operational and leadership experience as a successful manager of consultancies across a range of complex emerging markets. While our team and current network continues to expand, clients are increasingly looking for counsel in other emerging markets also, so developing our international footprint further is a major focus and this move is a major step in that direction."
Chris said: "Kesarev is a firm I have known and admired for a long time, so I am thrilled to be partnering with such a reputable team. With an impressive track record and terrific client list, we see a real opportunity to accelerate our international growth, offering a seamless, nimble service across markets which can be very challenging for stretched inhouse teams. This is exactly the sort of challenge I have embraced throughout my long career in emerging markets, so am really looking forward to what I am sure will be an exciting journey.'
