Work experience
Before joining Kesarev in February 2020, Alexander gained professional experience preparing analytical reports for the Committee for Waste Management of the Leningrad Region, and was also involved in preparing analytical materials for the Committee for Investments on the economic impact of migration on the development of municipalities. In 2019, during the Moscow City Duma election campaign, Alexander worked as an analyst at the Committee for Civil Initiatives, where he was responsible for preparing reports on the electoral situation in specific electoral districts.

Since 2022, he has specialized in crisis management and advising Kesarev clients on counter-sanctions regulations, including obtaining permits from the Sub-Commission of the Government Commission for Monitoring Foreign Investments in the Russian Federation. Alexander has successfully supported more than 20 clients in obtaining permissions for transactions involving the sale of foreign businesses in Russia and the payment of dividends.

Responsibilities in Kesarev
In Kesarev, Alexander focuses on advising clients in the FMCG, IT, building materials, and medical devices and equipment sectors, as well as providing GR support for M&A transactions.

Background
Alexander holds a Masters of Political Science from the Higher School of Economics (2020) and BA in Political Science from the Russian Presidential Academy of Public Administration (RANEPA). During his studies, he participated in the academic exchange program with SciencePo Paris.

Languages
Along with his native Russian, Alexander is fluent in English and has basic knowledge in French.
