Andrei Kosko

Work experience
Andrei started his career at the Belarus National Academy of Sciences where he carried out research into energy security. Later, he moved to the Ministry of the Economy as a Specialist in the Department for Economic Integration, where he provided analytical support for Belarus's position on energy and other types of policy within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and the Union State of Belarus and Russia, and on Belarus's accession to the WTO. From 2020 to 2021, Andrei headed the international relations department of the biggest gas company in Belarus, providing analysis of the world's leading gas consumer markets and of the creation of the common EAEU gas market, including political risks.

Responsibilities in Kesarev
In Kesarev Andrei focuses at overall management of client relations in Belarus. He is responsible for regulatory monitoring and strategic advice, outreach to government bodies.

Background
Background Andrei graduated with distinction from the Energy Faculty of the Belarusian State Agrarian Technical University. In 2018, he completed postgraduate studies at the Institute of Energy of the Belarussian National Academy of Sciences. Additionally, Andrei studied WTO trade law with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore (Singapore), and trade aspects of the Belt and Road Initiative at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (Beijing, China).

In 2018–2019, he completed international courses on ESG and energy policy at Arava Institute for Environmental Studies (Ketura, Israel) and international trade law at Belarusian State Economic University (Minsk, Belarus).
Andrei has written two books on international energy relations and regularly lectures on energy and climate policy.
