Work experience
Prior to joining Kesarev in 2018, Ivan did internships at a Moscow-based political consultancy and the Russian International Affairs Council – the leading Russian think tank in international and regional affairs.

Responsibilities in Kesarev
In Kesarev, Ivan is advising clients in the FMCG, consumer health, and industrial sectors, ranging from systemic GR profile-building and issue management work to special and anti-crisis projects, in Russia and the Eurasian Economic Union.

In recent years, he has had a special focus on projects involving Russian counter-sanctions regulations, as well as asset protection projects.

Background
Ivan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with Distinction from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO). He also studied international relations at the Free University of Berlin, the Humboldt-University of Berlin and the University of Potsdam.

Languages
Along with his native Russian and Bulgarian, Ivan is also fluent in English and German.
