Kesarev awarded the Government Relations special nomination in the national ranking Pravo-300

This year, the main Russian legal rating Pravo-300 for the first time included Government Relations (GR) in the list of special nominations.
According to the rules, rating participants send descriptions of their projects to Pravo-300 experts. Experts select the most worthy of them to be included in the short list for public voting.
Kesarev's project to develop and implement a GR strategy to amend the legislation on restricting foreign ownership of classifieds won the special nomination.
In 2022, Kesarev was approached by a coalition of companies associated with the market of ad placement services in connection with the introduction of two bills to the State Duma that restricted foreign ownership of classifieds. If adopted, the bills would have a critical impact on the business of the largest market players.
Our team developed and implemented a comprehensive GR strategy, making it possible to block the adoption of the bill in its original version. The coalition's key proposals have been incorporated into bylaws.
