Philippe Pegorier, Partner at Kesarev, elected Deputy Chairperson of the new Board of Association of European Businesses (AEB) in April 2022 and will enhance the dialogue of Association's members and Kesarev clients with Russian authorities. Previously, Philippe served as AEB Chairman from 2014 to 2016 and as AEB Board member from 2012 to 2022.

In his new role, Philippe will continue to help brining AEB's mission to life - support companies operating in Russia through actions that improve the business climate.

In my position, I will be able to continue support the Association's members and Kesarev's clients in building a dialogue with key stakeholders both in Russia and in the Eurasian Economic Commission," said Philippe Pegorier on the occasion of his election.

AEB is the main representative body of foreign investors in Russia. Founded in 1995, it unites over 500 European and Russian companies. AEB members work in 60 committees, subcommittees and working groups that are engaged in lobbying on a wide range of issues in various business areas including energy, transport and customs, agriculture, air travel, passenger cars and commercial vehicles production, legislation, taxation, banking, real estate, crop protection products and many others. The association works closely with the top European and Russian authorities, and provides comments and suggested changes to the draft laws of Russia.

The Board is elected every two years and consists of 9 members. The members of the AEB Board are:
