On May 16, the GR Case Cup—Russia’s largest student competition in government relations—held its final round at Kutafin Moscow State Law University (MSAL). Teams from across the country presented solutions to a real-world GR challenge before a jury of Kesarev consultants, top corporate GR directors, and government officials.

This year’s case focused on developing a strategy to mitigate newly introduced tariffs. Participants pitched their ideas in a simulated corporate setting, with the jury acting as company leadership.

The winning team from St. Petersburg State University (SPbGU) earned a summer internship at Kesarev—a unique opportunity to gain hands-on GR experience.

This year’s event set a participation record, with 47 teams (up from just 12 in 2024) from cities like Vladivostok, Yekaterinburg, and Nizhny Novgorod.
