Kesarev Awarded the Best GR Department of Russia 2024

On September 13, 2024, the Kesarev team participated in the award ceremony for The Department by Legal Insight. The firm's partner, Vitaly Zhigulin, presented the award to the winners in the "Effective Government Relations" nomination.
This year, the expert council, which traditionally includes the heads of the legal departments that won the previous competition and partners from various law firms, evaluated more than 100 entries across 11 categories. Representatives from 55 companies participated in the competition, 21 of them for the first time. Seven newcomers managed to become prize-winners.
Six companies competed in the GR nomination this year. The Moscow Metro team took 1st place. The other prize-winners were CIAN (2nd place) and Cherkizovo (3rd place).
A key tenant of The Department competition is reflecting the major trends within the market. This is precisely how the "Effective Government Relations" nomination came to fruition, which Kesarev has sponsored since 2017. Thanks to the Legal Insight competition, GR specialists, who are often overlooked, now have the opportunity to make themselves known and receive recognition for their work.
