Work experience
Vitaly’s experience in the field of Government and Public Affairs dates back to 2006. Before joining Kesarev, Vitaly has headed government relations functions in Russian and multinational corporations such as GE Capital, SAP CIS, Huawei Technologies, Coca-Cola HBC Eurasia and X5 Retail Group. From 2013 to 2015, Vitaly headed the Association of E-Commerce Companies (AKIT), the Russian trade association that represents the interests of leading e-commerce market players.
Responsibilities in Kesarev
In Kesarev, Vitaly focuses on advising clients in the technology and media, FMCG and financial services sectors, as well as supporting M&A transactions and anti-crisis projects.
Background
In 2007 Vitaly obtained a Ph.D. in Law from Russian State University of Trade and Economics (Moscow); he also holds a specialist degree in Law (2003).
Vitaly is invited as guest lecturer at Higher School of Economics (HSE).

Ranked in the TOP-3 and TOP-10 best Directors for Government Relations (GR) in the FMCG Sector in 2020 and 2019, respectively, and TOP-5 best Directors in the IT Sector in 2013 by the annual rating of Kommersant newspaper and the Russian Managers Association (TOP-1000 Russian Managers).
