On May 28, the Association of European Businesses (AEB) held its annual conference titled "At a Crossroads: The Outlook for Russia’s M&A Market in 2025" at the AEB Conference Center in Moscow.

The event brought together experts from the legal, financial, and corporate sectors to discuss key trends shaping Russia’s mergers and acquisitions (M&A) landscape. Topics included the regulatory outlook, the potential return of foreign investors, and strategic considerations for companies exploring market re-entry.

Vitaly Zhigulin, Partner at Kesarev, took part in the panel discussion "Potential Entry and Return of Foreign Investors to Russia," where he shared insights on the role of government relations (GR) in shaping investment decisions and highlighted possible scenarios for regulatory developments impacting foreign capital.
