Philippe Pegorier as Partner. Philippe brings to the Kesarev team a wealth of managerial, diplomatic and client counsel experience across Russia, Ukraine and the post-Soviet region.
Philippe was formerly President and CEO of Alstom Russia and CIS for 10 years and is a well-established business leader in the region. He has over 30 years' experience in management and a proven track record of interacting with the governments of Russia, Ukraine and Central Asian countries, both as a businessman and a representative of French and European institutions (he is currently a Board Member of the Association of European Businesses in Russia). Prior to his business career, Philippe spent 25 years as a French government official, working on key economic issues with governments of Russia, Ukraine, Iran and in France.

Philippe is also Chairman of the Machine Building and Engineering Committee of AEB, member of the Russian Government Commission on Regulatory Guillotine for Railroad transportation, the Council on Foreign Investments by the Federal Antimonopoly Agency, and the International Council for Cooperation and Investment (ICCI), chaired by Aleksander Shokhin, President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
Before Alstom Philippe spent his professional career working for the Ministry for the Economy and Finance of France in different capacities in France, Russia, Iran and Ukraine, including as Diplomatic Advisor to Christine Lagarde while she was Minister for Foreign Trade. Philippe graduated from Kedge Business School in Bordeaux.
To name just a few most prominent awards, Philippe holds the title of Knight of the Legion of Honour and is a Commander of the Order of Friendship (Russia).
