Kesarev presented awards to the most effective Government Relations Departments in Russia within Legal Insight contest

On 23 June, the top three Government Relations (GR) Departments were distinguished during the prestigious contest "Best Legal Departments of Russia":
Best GR Department nomination was announced and celebrated together with the winners of other 11 nominations of the contest organised by the well-known magazine
Legal Insight.
This nomination allows both legal and GR departments of the companies operating in Russia to showcase their best practice in the GR work over the previous year. Kesarev, the leading independent public affairs consultancy across Russia, is the official sponsor of the nomination for the second year.
In 2022, Kesarev Executive Partner Evgeny Roshkov was a member of the Expert Council of the Contest, shaped the procedure for the nominations and assessed the work of contest participants in all twelve categories.
"It is a great honor for the Kesarev team to be presenting the first-place award to Natalia Klepikova heading GR at Cherkizovo and be a partner of the nomination "the Most Effective interaction with authorities” for the second year. Each legal department is involved in the process of interaction with regulatory authorities and the challenges of today and the trend of strengthening the role of the government determines the special importance of the GR function in companies”, said Vitaly Zhigulin, Kesarev Partner.
Yury Panasik, Kesarev Partner who also presented Kesarev at the ceremony added: “Despite the fact that this is a young nomination, this year we are considering a large number of applications with rather complicated cases. We are awaiting an increasing interest in the contest from the current and new participants making the process of choosing the best even more challenging."
The Best Legal Departments of Russia Contest is a prestigious recognition run by Legal Insight Magazine since 2006. The "Most Effective Government Relations" nomination was introduced in 2017. Kesarev's sponsorship of the nomination allows to further strengthen the development of the government relations practice in Russia.

- The silver prize went to food delivery company Delivery Club.
- The bronze award was received by BAT, the British international tobacco company.
